It's something fascinating about indulging yourself into those childhood memories of playing dress up, which have never seemed to have left me. It wasn't until I reached about 7 year's old I realized that I wanted to be different and become an icon in the fabulous world of Fashion. For Christmas and Birthdays, the doll babies and kitchen play sets came to a halt. Instead, I jotted on my wishlist for more sequence, glitter, prints and patterns to be added to my wardrobe. Growing up, I always admired the women in my life and their fashion sense. The way they paired a blouse to pants or accessories to a sparkly heel, has always been so exciting!

Drawing inspiration from not only the women in my life, but also from the Legendary and Iconic Prince, Madonna, Sex and the City Star Carry Bradshaw or better known as Sarah Jessica Parker, as well as stylist and designers such as, Rachel Zoe, June Ambrose, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and Victoria Beckham just to name a few. Collectively, they have all inspired me to pursue my dream, in the journey of becoming a Fashion Icon. Thus, Fashion Under Radar (FUR).
FUR is a wardrobe styling company based in Washington, D.C., which was founded by Imani Rashad in December 2013. FUR's mission is designed to provide an extraordinary level of customer service to it's clientele, by helping individuals to build their confidence and to define their own distinctive image and style. FUR ensures that ALL clients look their best, feel their best and walk with a PURPOSE. No matter what age, shape, size, race or gender. FUR's keen eye for detail and fresh approach to to styling, will have you turning heads and looking stylish at ANY occasion.

Like one of my favorite figures in the fashion scene, fashion publicist Kelly Cutrone, said, "Don't be NORMAL nor BASIC, it gets you NOWHERE!" However, Be FREE, Live FREELY, Create FREELY, and Express FREELY, is my personal motto that I live by along with Ms. Cutrone's quote, for everything I do, to motivate me to continue pushing towards my Dreams and Success.
Your appearance is a reflection of two main concepts: Who you are and How you want people to perceive you. Allow FUR to speak for you and help you to express your individuality and fashion FREELY while managing to keep it classy, sophisticated and professional. I stress the importance of self-confidence because to sum it up, YOU are your NUMBER 1 supporter and if you cannot be confident and walk with your head held high showing just that and your worth, you CANNOT expect others to feel or see you as being the same.
